Westfield Fire Station 85

Westfield Fire Station 85 is a new public safety facility planned to serve the city’s rapidly growing northern area. The station is being developed near 206th Street and Six Points Road as part of Westfield’s continued investment in emergency response infrastructure, with a modern facility designed to support firefighter readiness, daily operations, and long-term community service.

This is a special project because the technology model is as important as the systems themselves. Through EnvelopiQ’s Technology Infrastructure as a Service model, the City is combining advisory, integration, lifecycle support, and financial flexibility into one structure. Instead of treating technology as a one-time capital purchase, Westfield is acquiring a managed technology foundation that can stay current, supported, and aligned with the station’s operational needs over time.

EnvelopiQ’s role includes advising, designing, integrating, and supporting the station’s technology infrastructure across audio visual systems, structured cabling, network, access control, video surveillance, fire alarm, building automation, and emergency dispatch alerting. The value is operational readiness: giving the City a unified technology environment that supports communication, security, response coordination, facility control, and Day 2 reliability in a place where downtime is not just inconvenient. It can affect public safety.
