AREA is a transit-oriented mixed-use development in Mundelein, Illinois, planned with 225 multifamily units, 17 townhomes, and 3,000 square feet of retail space. Designed as a resort-style community, the project brings together apartments, townhomes, retail, amenity spaces, lake access, remote-work environments, fitness, recreation, and secure residential access into one connected living experience.
EnvelopiQ is providing technology advisory services, leading the effort to smartly plan and design the technology around the owner’s vision for property management and tenant experience. Our role is to help define the systems, infrastructure, and integration logic that support resident convenience, secure access, reliable connectivity, amenity use, retail activation, and operational visibility.
EnvelopiQ will also provide technology integration services for the project’s IT network infrastructure. The value is a technology foundation planned with intent, supporting how residents live, how property teams operate, and how the building performs after opening.
