4C Health’s new inpatient psychiatric unit and psychiatric urgent care facility in Peru expanded access to behavioral health care across North Central Indiana. The relocation from Logansport to Peru was designed to provide expanded space, advanced technology, and an improved therapeutic environment for patients needing immediate psychiatric care or inpatient mental health treatment.
In this environment, technology has to support safety, dignity, responsiveness, and clinical confidence at the same time. EnvelopiQ provided technology advisory, construction management, integration, and Day 2 support across the facility’s core technology systems, helping align infrastructure decisions with the operational realities of inpatient behavioral health and urgent psychiatric care.
Our work included voice and data cabling, audio visual systems, sound masking, intelligent fire alarm and detection, video security, cloud-based access control, wireless panic alerting, LAN coordination, Wi-Fi coverage, and video intercom. The value was a coordinated technology environment that supports secure access, staff awareness, patient privacy, reliable connectivity, crisis response, and long-term operational support.
