The Elex is the residential phase of the Electric Works campus, adding 296 modern residential units, affordable housing, 55+ housing, commercial space, parking, wellness amenities, and an early childhood learning center to one of Fort Wayne’s most important adaptive reuse districts. Public descriptions identify the project as part of the next phase of Electric Works and a major addition to the campus ecosystem.
EnvelopiQ provided Technology CM at Risk and advisory services, helping coordinate the delivery path for AV, building automation, access control, life safety, connected apartment app, parking control, bulk Wi-Fi, and IT infrastructure. The value was a more accountable delivery model for a mixed-use residential environment where smart living, parking, access, connectivity, safety, and operations needed to be planned as one system.
